Discuss about (upcoming) RPG games ..

Hi, i'm a big lover of the classic japanese RPG games like Final fantasy, wild arms ect.

I have an Xbox 360 and a nintendo wii and was wondering if there are any good classic RPG games for either of the two consols.

I have completed enchanted arms on the 360, very linear gamplay but i liked it.

I know blue dragon is now out but i've heard it's not that good what did you all think?
Also are there any good rpg's out or coming out in the nar future?

I think the Wii and the Xbox are not really good RPG consoles even not in the future ! I think you should better buy a Playstation 2 or 3 if you like RPG's

Yeah, nintendo and microsoft never seem to bother with good RPG's, the PS3 will be best for these but it's so expensive at the mo. Hopefully by the time Final Fantasy XIII comes out it'll have droppd in price.

yeap, I'm also waiting for the PS3's price to drop (again) before I buy one. CAN'T WAIT for FFXIII...I hope it will be better than FFXII. FFXII really disappointed me, I really did not care of the story or the character development (what little was there) that much.

Yeah i too cannot wait for the game to drop.. like you i was not overly impressed with FFXII, personally i prefere a good turn based RPG, a game that will basically not move away from the classic Final Fantasy that we all know and love. Also i wasn't keen on the charecter design either.

Uhh i have a separate question. Anyone knows wheather there will be a US bundled FF Crisis Core Sony PSP LE or maybe a Star Ocean one?
I want to buy any of those. However i don't wanna buy japanese ones yet cause i'm not sure about the US releases.

I think there is no US release of those limited console RPG sets ...

Word is in that UK will recieve a Crisis Core Limited Edition that contains a artbook to go along. (not the LE PSP bundle) I would have grabbed this offer if I didn't preorder the US version of the game. Just my luck.

Lost Odyssy for 360 is pretty good. Like it has been echoed, PS3/PS2 is the way to go for JRPG's but if you're into western RPG's at all, Oblivion and Mass Effect are two of the finest ever crafted, again on 360.
