Non-Game Collections
Not sure where to post this, but was wondering if any of our fine gaming fanatics collected items other than Video Games?
I know this is a gaming forum, but I suppose the question couldn't hurt.
I myself, have a pretty bad ass collection of misc stuff from Sam Keith's The Maxx Comic...aka, best comic ever, among other things.
Was wondering if anyone has an interest (or extra money for that matter) to sustain any other collections?

Re: Non-Game Collections
I love the Maxx just bought the DVD's off eBay a while ago.
I'm well aware they are just bootlegs or VHS recordings transcribed on to DVD but I must have it available to me!

Wurd! One of the only things MTV never screwed up is Maxx. The mini series is almost panel for panel issues 1-12. They need to release it on Blu Ray.

Not really, but in future I'll have some books and CD's. I collect also DVD's. With my father I have over 200 DVD's.

Used to collect comic books, don't anymore. I still have 5 boxes full of comics in my basement. Some are rare while others aren't. Getting rid of them can be a pain however

My main focus is actually Star Wars figures, but started NES games late in college. Also got into the the 25th anniversary GI Joe last year. Oh and I have all my old baseball/football cards. LOL... I come from a collector family, it's just in my genes.

Re: Non-Game Collections
You make me tear up with pride dude, that is TOO COOL! You have some of the best issues there. Now I have to really get my camera working again. The Maxx really is a great series, very human and all around cool, though I def like the first 13 or so issues better than the later 13, though I do like how 35 ended.
Gotta take some pictures, I have so much neat Maxx stuff laying around. In the meantime, here's a link to my comicartfan gallery...of particular, I was lucky enough to snag some original art from the Maxx card set from 97. Maybe you'll like it: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=28251
