Start of my MGS collection.

I just bought some Metal Gear items off eBay recently. The Essential + the Anniversary collections - Click here / Click here. I also acquired a MGS artwork book - Click here, and I have Snake Eater + Sons of Liberty sealed too. I' ll post some pictures on Monday as I don't have access to a camera here.

Nice man! REALLY good deal on the Artbook. A whole bunch have seemed to hit ebay recently at that buy-it-now but trust me, they'll become rare again. I've seen it recently close even over $100US!

Why I see it with bids at $100US+ when it's in an ebay store for 19.99GBP buy-it-now is almost funny

I'm not going to open that artbook, even though I'd love to. Maybe see if I can get another on that's not sealed, so I can have a browse through it.
I also thought it was an amazing price for the book. I saw one at a buy it now price for £100!!

The Sons of Liberty I have is the version that was bundled with the PS2 I think. At least that's what someone on this site told me. Is it a reseal?

Yeah there was a PAL version that was bundled with the PS2. As long as it's y-fold it's probably legit.

I don't have it, but I have access to a picture of a genuine one so I can confirm if everything is ok!

I'd definately say it's more sought after than the regular version in the MG collector world as well. Sealed that is. I mean, anyone could've bought the reg copy on the shelves but someone had to buy the whole system to get it. MG collectors would definately pay a premium to get this version.

The JPN version MGS20th package is definately a hot item in the MG scene. Y'know there used to be dozens of these for only $60US in the ebay stores? Now it's at least double that price wise.

Even on Yahoo Japan you're looking at over 10,000Y ($100US) and they get alot of bids. It had a very short print run and it seems collectors now are almost in a panic to get one. Other than the shareholder items it's the most popular item people ask me about.

Just make sure you keep all this stuff sealed! So many MGS collectors I know can't resist temptation and they gotta see what's inside heh. If you wanna see what's inside go to junkerhq.net the site there has shots of everything open piece by piece it's awesome.
