Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
Not trying to cause panic but are you sure your FFVII is legit? I know it's a seam-style seal but it doesn't look right....the amount of loose plastic on the bottom doesn't seem right.

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
i would think so too !
That does not look as a legit seal on this pic!

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
FFVII has the overlap seam on the back and the PSX hangtab.
I have not too much fear, I did fret about the looseness of it too but I think the overlap is too hard to imitate no?
Also, the seam part on top is not nearly as big. I don't know why the bottom is.
I hope it's not resealed! I paid too much for the possibility of that lol

OK I did it, it's here:

I hope it's really not resealed...
On the good side, a new gem for my collection arrived today! I paid a relatively low price too:

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
Thanks for the comments guys! Some NICE new additions today.
Finally, a good, factory sealed game amongst all the trash that I've been getting from eBay! I know it's not the rarest but it still fits into the FF theme.
The real treasures are next, I found these in the clearance section of my local blockbuster video rental for 20$!!!!
Tales of Legendia sealed:
And my favorite, We Love Katamari black label sealed!
This shows why I LOVE the Canadian sealing style so much! At first, it looks like a beat-up and piss-poor reseal (There are actually factory vent-holes on the seal making it legit but it still looks ugly).
However, peel off the secondary factory wrapper, take out the french insert/manual, and underneath, you have a gem-mint sealed game which has survived getting tossed around in the bargain bin! (Unlike tales of legendia which has some very small rips).
From my understanding both games are pretty rare, I've only played them a bit but for 20$ I couldn't pass it up!

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
Unfortunately We Love Katamari isn't rare anymore I had TONS of copies of the game and when I first started selling it (about 2 years ago) it was going for $50-$60 easy. Then they reprinted it and now it's everywhere. The reprint is identical to the first print so it's all worth diddly Now, what IS rare and is very expensive is the first print Katamari Damashi (or so it says on the UPC) with the white UPC strip. That's a gem worth owning.

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
really? Used copies are going for 30$ on eBay, I only see 2 new ones at the moment for 65$ Buy It Now (albeit they are not selling). I think for 20$ it was a decent deal.

Re: striker's PS1/PS2 Sealed Collection
Is this the game you're talking about bucky?

You're right, eBay is infested w/ the cheap reprint, but this one is only 25-30$ more.
You're probably talking about something else though.
