i was watching his item , then the seller ended early to the highest bidder

this cheapitemfastpostage guy always does this , then he sells the item on straight away .
why cant people just let auctions run to the end ?

i hate it too! It's mostly sellers who are noob and don't know the real prices. They grab the first low ball offer and think it's DEAL!
Re: i hate when sellers end their items early !

I've had a couple of potential auctions vanish like this before too, and it sucks for all the buyers except the one who bought it. But the seller can do whatever they want.

Re: i hate when sellers end their items early !
I saw someone end and auction early to sell to the highest bidder.
The price was around $15 and the game was a factory sealed U.S. copy of FINAL FANTASY VII (BLACK LABEL.)
Ending an auction early that way does have it's benefits.

they probably just agreed upon an off-ebay trade. or the seller got royally ripped off.

Well I do remember seeing the buyer (I think it was an eBay reseller) leave feedback and they seemed VERY happy with the purchase.

Ditto. I'm no angel, and i've made n00bish sellers offers on certain items before (Like my Getaway Million Discs Edition! Lol!), but I do hate the ones who do it simply to take advantage and resell an item at a higher price. It's cheating everyone involved, as the seller doesn't get it's true value, and the bidders are then forced to bid again on the same item or forced to use an extremely high Buy It Now

Re: i hate when sellers end their items early !
this happens alot now, like with that sealed pokemon console on ebay at the moment i asked about the condition etc and he said 4 people have already asked him to end the listing early, this was only 2 hours or so into the auction.
i guess there are a fair few doing it, seems on some really rare items if you want it you may have to ask before someone else beats you to it

I Generally disagree with ending items early, but if the seller is happy to sell, then everyones happy

Nice picture lol
For guys from the forum, if we buy for our collection and pay a fair price then, I suppose fair play

not crying lol jus making the point that if you want something then on some things like that rather than bid then sometimes you need to ask for it to be ended early to guarantee you have a chance at it because chances are someone else is going to do it aswell. also its interesting to see what things go for sometimes but you dont get a chance to if the auction doesnt finish.
