Oddly sealed Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber for DS
I was in my local Tesco this morning and I noticed an oddly sealed Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber (Which has just been released recently)
It had the standard red Nintendo tear strip, but rather being horizontally across the game as you would usually expect, it ran vertically along the right-hand side of the game!!! I checked other copies of the game on the shelf, and all the others were sealed in the standard manner, except this one copy which looked odd. It's as if the actual game case had been turned 90 degrees prior to being sealed
Question is, would there be a collector's market for this kind of mistake? Could it perhaps be treated in the same manner as a mis-print, especially seeing as it was just an odd one out amongst a batch of standardly sealed copies. Would this sort of thing interest any kind of collector's? (After all, we are among the elite, so perhaps there's someone who specialises in these sorts of sealed anomalies???)
Your thoughts...
PS: If it is still there next time I visit, i'll try and remember to take a picture

jepp...in Germany we also have some games which have a horizontal strip. The user Undead showed as some pics in another forum.
DS is not my area of expertise, so maybe some other guys can post their opinion.

GameBoy games come with vertical tear strips as standard, so this statement is moot. DS games on the other hand usually come with horizontal tear strips as standard (As can be seen in my DS collection thread), yet this particular copy of Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber is unique in the fact that it has been sealed differently than other copies of the game, and other DS games

There are loads of those games (DS) in Germany. Saw them today again, like 20% of the games they have in the store.

sounds to me as if the entire batch of games were loaded inproperly into the shrinkwrap machines at the factory. I have a few ds titles here in the states where the seams are on the spine end instead of the right-hand side (where the shell would normally open) and this was obviously a case where the cheap labor types loaded the games in backwards.

I have also seen other games sealed like this, such as Phantom Hourglass. I think someone on here has one. It seems very bizarre to see games sealed this way, and seems to be just a handful
