best video game moments

What are your best video game moments?
I start with:

Final Fantasy VIII (PSone):
I love the soundtrack and the big emotion in this scene!


And another wonderful scene with lovely music and romantic ...



Zelda - A Link to the past (SNES):
Yeah I was so proud that I found the master sword ... :P !!!

It's not me playing it, but one of the best moments I had (okay, it's not a long time ago) was this one:



I don't know why, but 7th Saga is an extremly fascinating game. It's hard to play and bad in some moments, but the story is later in the game in my eyes really good and mysterious. For me, 7th Saga was worth playing. Every of the estimated 38 hours.

It's not the best moment, but it's worth to write it in here. Don't want to show the hole Ocarina of Time

Ocarina Of Time is over-rated to be honest. It's a godo game, but not really a great game. There were better before it, and have been better after it. I don't know why people regard it so highly.

I will say though, the best moment in Ocarina Of Time is after you've completed the first three quests and plunge your sword into the stone in the Temple and emerge in teh future as a grown up Link, and everything around you has changed

For me OoT is the best game ever. Sure, I haven't played too much games, but no other than OoT is so mysterious. I want to quote someone who wrote a review:

I don't know how many games I have played in my life where you see some cool scenery in the background and you're thinking "wow, wouldn't it be great if you could actually go there?" That's what Zelda is all about.

He explained exactly what I feel and couldn't say. I was very happy, when I read this, because for me it's the truth about OoT. I love this game and I will defend it all my life Even if I know, that I'm overrating it. But I know, that I never had such a feeling playing a game than by this one.

The Yunalesca Scene
The Wedding Crashing Scene
The part when Tidus/Yuna and Co. first confront Seymour in Macalania Temple

FFX was truy epic to me. I've got 4 sealed, original copies (all Squaresoft editions) of this game lol that's how much I love it!!

Hahaha...yeah I'm mildly obsessed with FFX! The only other game that I have double of is FFVII black label. One is the seam-style version (and is mint) but my Y-Fold copy is not. I'm still looking for a mint one of those..and I'm trying to avoid eBay at all costs on taht one. I am not willing to go above $700 or so for that because other nutcase bidders out there would bid me into the 1000s llololol
