If that's the same one I bidded on, then I am sure glad I didn't win it! I have so far bought two copies of Pokemon Crystal which have been flawed considerably, and this would have been a kick in the nuts, especially as it's the only other GameBoy game I want more than anything. I would have left a negative for sure if I had bought it and discovered it was less than perfect, especially seeing as the auction stated "Perfect for collector's"

i did ask first and she said there was a wee dent so i only have myself to blame for still bidding . it will do until i find a perfect copy .

All well and good, but i'm a perfectionist (As you might have guessed already!), and even the slightest of flaws i'm funny about. With Dreamcast games it's usually loose pips inside, which annoy the hell out of me. PlayStation games it's usually loose discs that annoy me, and all oldNintendo games I hate having crushed corners. My pet hate (And this is where it gets really anal) is torn cellophane. Bit chunks of plastic missing, usually around the back so it's not visible in auction pictures.
I would have been very angry to receive this Zelda DX game only to find it was damaged on the other side, especially if the seller had not told me beforehand. I had this problem with Pokemon Crystal, and I was deeply gutted - After spending over £70 on the game, I had to send it back as the seller failed to tell me of the damage. But, I would rather wait and wait and wait for a perfect copy than buy one that was less than perfect and have to replace it at a later date.

i'm usually the same , very fussy ! i dont know why i bought it but it was just a moment of madness i think
never mind , i just wait until a perfect one appears and buy it aswell , then sell the flawed one on >>

Would love to own it too. But I saw it became really rare. How much did you pay?

The first of the two GBA Fire Emblem games is much harder to source than the second game which seems to be everywhere. To find one with a red strip is very rare
