Hey, no NTSC ????
Hey I'm new here, I love all of your guys' collections etc, but it seems like there is no love for NTSC(u) in here! You don't even have guides on NTSC(u) games just PAL.
Is it because NTSC(u) doesn't have the strips or w/e like PAL? I don't get it. Reading this forum makes me think a lot of my sealed stuff is rubbish!

Many of the lurkers of this fine board are from Europe. Don't take it personally.

I'm into NTSC completely and don't care about tear strips!striker wrote:Hey I'm new here, I love all of your guys' collections etc, but it seems like there is no love for NTSC(u) in here! You don't even have guides on NTSC(u) games just PAL.

Re: Hey, no NTSC ????
yea, I do have quite a few sealed games, but they don't fall in any particular categories, other than games I enjoyed playing and want to keep sealed copies of! I may post it sometime.

Re: Hey, no NTSC ????
The reason most the guides are for PAL games is because most of us are native to the UK or Europe, so it's something we know more about. However, we do have love for NTSC, and you'll find most of us will have American and even Japanese games amongst our collections. Also, there are other collector's forums on the internet (Such as Digital Press) which are predominantly American, so this is sort of an alternative, although we do also include discussions regarding NTSC games as well.
PlayStation games and PS2 games seem to be popular American NTSC games amongst us collector's here, as well as NTSC SNES games. There are some who prefer Japanese Dreamcast games, and some who like to collect various Japanese Neo Geo or Saturn games too.
I will admit, I haven't seen many who collect NTSC Xbox or GameCube games though. Where the Xbox is concerned, there's not too many games that were released in America of any interest that we didn't get here (Tony Hawk 2x is one US game that I can think of off the top of my head, and i'm sure there's a load of American sports games as well). Metal Wolf Chaos would probably be one of the major Japanese games worthy of importing too. As far as the GameCube goes, there's a few titles that are of interest - The American version of Animal Crossing for example, allows the use of the eReader. There's also Donkey Konga games that are different from our own, as well as a third Donkey Konga game in Japan amongst others

Re: Hey, no NTSC ????
I have a good sized sealed collection of NTSC Xbox games, but I will be selling most of them off. Games I am keeping include Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Baldur's Gate DA II and Panzer Dragoon Orta. Other than that, not much else

Those are three of the best. Don't suppose you have a Sealed Capcom Vs SNK 2 and or Silent Hill 2 Original?
Re: Hey, no NTSC ????
95% of my sealed games are NTSC-J. Been importing games since the MD came out, when pal land was treated like crap!
