Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
It's not just SNES games Dark Sol, anything that came from a factory with some shrink wrap should have some ventholes. This includes:
- Final Fantasy 12 CE (PS2)
- Final Fantasy VII Seam Style (PS1)
- Canadian Sealed PS2 games w/ extra shrink wrap for french manual (PS2)
I have all of these games and they ALL have ventholes. I also have that copy of clay fighters that I thought was resealed with overlap seam, rarebucky re-assured me it was legit, and low and behold, it also has ventholes.
Hell, I just bought soul calibur 4 for PS3 the collector's tin right from the store itself, no doubt about authenticity, it is shrink wrapped because it's a tin, and you guessed it, that has vent holes as well.
I don't think you can make a factory sealed game without ventholes for air to escape.
Another sign: There are usually a set of faint white lines where the vertical seam is on SNES games, probably from the roller, and I can't see these on this picture.

Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
I asked the seller directly why there is no ventholes and that i think it's a reseal. I'll see what he reply.
Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
I saw this yesterday and I think reseal too. The 3rd and 4th pictures (the sides) look suspect to me. The entire "T" looks very strange.

Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
Speaking about ventholes. I checked my sealed snes games. Two of them had clear lines of ventholes here and there. Saturn games as well. And Arthur's World had them barely visible. I had to look all over the box dozen of times and barely noticed only THREE miscroscopic holes on the back. Within 3 cm range.... So sometimes they are not as clear as they must be.

I found this funny:
"Look at the pictures closely to see that it is probably considered fair to good condition"
"Fair" and "Good condition" are certainly two phrases I would definitely not have used to describe this game! I would have started the bidding at $0.99 rather than $99.99

First time I have seen that VGA grading takes an effect on prices. Not sure if this is good or bad news.
