Frank, is this one of your copies or was this purchased from the other auctioner on ebay? In any case, the flooding of the market has begun!
Case fresh my ass the back of the shrink wrap is severely damaged.
And he wants 1000$? Come on.
I find it funny that he would choose to sell the worst copy first. Not smart. He should have listed one of the mint ones first and then saved that worst one for last. It's too bad all of those copies went to resellers. It will definitely drop the price on this game. It's already happening as $300 is a great price, even for one with a tear.

I actually prefer to pay lower prices for the stuff I purchase, so I really can't complain about a dropping price. For a non-reseller like me increasing prices due to higher scarcity are a pain in the ass, not something to look forward to.

Lies. You only say that because you have this game yourself and now that the market has been flooded you don't want to see the value lower.
Remember that chrono trigger a while back that we were going to bid on? The tear was not 1/10th this size and you de-valued the hell out of it, this is a gigantic tear so what makes it any better?

$300 is a good price, take it or leave it. But you can't buy it for that now anyway because he delisted it, so it's a moot point. Chrono Trigger is a totally different story from this game and I wasn't the only who cared about the condition on that one - it went for only like $700 so I was 100% correct on that one.

I F***ING HATE when sellers don't post Canadian shipping prices.
This was a FLIPPING STEAL and I missed it. It seems like everything I don't bid on ends up being a steal. F*** this.

Mystic Quest is a game I've been after for a long time but this one I'm 90% sure is resealed. No vent holes, vertical seam is not straight.
It's a very good looking reseal though. I wonder how this dude does it. First Zelda: LTTP and now this. This guy is gonna be rich in no time.

Did you look at the second picture? I can see another line running down the right edge of the box.
Definitely another reseal.

Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
it's extremely weird, it's like every picture is of a different picture!
Notice how on the bottom in the first picture, the seal looks (too) tight to the bottom of the box. Yet on the second picture, the bottom has 2 pieces of excess shrink wrap sticking out. Where did that come from?
And you made a good point with that 2nd vertical seam, it is on the 2nd picture, yet on the 5th picture it is missing?? Wtf???

Yes I see the first picture has the excess wrap flat and the second one doesn't. That's weird... I can also see that second line in the 5th photo. You just have to enlarge the picture. Well lets see how high people will bid to get this one.

Take a look at the listing for Mario Kart 64 from the same seller.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Mario-Kart-64-NEW-FACTORY-SEALED-Nintendo-N64-NIB-MINT_W0QQitemZ330260529192
Quote from the listing:
The seller has a money back guarantee for Mario Kart but Mystic Quest is being sold AS-IS with no refund or exchange since they know it's resealed.

Quote from the listing:
This game has the horizontal overlapping seam that designates ORIGINAL NINTENDO SEAL! I will guarantee this is a genuine Nintendo Factory Seal or your money back!

Huh....what an crap. This is one of the best reseals.
Re: NEW and interesting SEALED stuff you spotted on ebay post here! (part1)
I also noticed from the sellers completed listings that he has 100% money back guarantees on the games that actually look truly factory sealed, and for these ones they are, like you said, AS-IS no money back. He knows full well they are resealed. Even the mario kart 64, mine has a vertical seam, this one has the horizontal overlap, I don't like it.
Give me vertical seam or give me death
Only suckers need to bid on this one.

I took a look at the pictures again. It's definitely a reseal. The line on the right you guys are referring to is not an extra seam - I believe that's actual wear on the edge of the box from opening and closing the box so many times. In any case, RESEAL!
