Some of those are pretty hard to find these days, such as Super Smash Bros Melee and Mario Sunshine. Original versions are exceptionally hard to find sealed, as many are Player's Choice versions. Same with a lot of the older titles, but it seems you are not really bothered which version you go after. I see you have both versions of Mario Sunshine though ~ Did you buy the Player's Choice one first and then go for the original?

Nice to see you have two versions of Wind Waker as well ~ If i'm not mistaken, you have the console pack-in version which comes with the bonus Ocarina Of Time / Master Quest disc...

Which version of Pokemon Colosseum is that? Is it the standard retail version, or the pack-in version with the Pokemon Box bonus disc? I see Mario Kart DD is just the ratail version too, not the pack-in version with the Zelda Collector's Edition bonus disc Wink

i'm not too fussy when i collect nintendo gc games , as long as they are mint and have the red seal with the exception of the res.evil games .
i try to get both players choice + black label .

i now have 2 sealed pokemon colosseum games (with and without mem.card)

I'm picky in the sense that I must have the Green Triangle (UK) version of a game. I only own about two or three Pink Triangle games (South Europe somewhere, Spain or Italy I think), but I have never seen Green Triangle versions. Some games, like Harvest Moon, it is more common to see other versons of it than the Green UK version which is considerably rarer. I have also noticed that the Green UK versions of Harvest Moon have the red Nintendo strip, but the Pink versions do not. The Player's Choice version seems quite common though

I try not to buy Player's Choice games as a rule. That's the beauty of eBay } If yu wait long enough, you will get what you want. Isuppose if I was going for completeness, I would search out all four versions of Wind Waker (Pack-in version; Player's Choice; Gold case Limited Edition; Gold case 1 disc)

Really? I swear I have seen the 1 disc version in a gold case before. I thought the only one that came in a black case was the pack-in version with 2 discs?

My case is black, 1 disc, but that one is a pure gold one, so no black thingy that says "Nintendo Gamecube blabla".

I have the two disc Limited Edition version which came bundled with the Silver GameCube. It's identical to the gold case Limited Edition version, but comes in black case instead of gold. Not quite sure why though, although my 2 disc Mario Kart DD Limited Edition which I got from the first Mario Kart DD bundle also came in a black case too, instead of red (Nintendo then later rereleased Mario Kart DD as a 1 disc pack-in version with the budget model of the GameCube)

Sounds about average. I was lucky enough to buy it when it first came out, and paid around £30 for it.

Nice to see you have both variations of Pokemon Colosseum, as well as two of the three versions of Mario Kart Double Dash.
I also see you're going for the more expensive and harder to get games first (Mario Baseball; Pokemon XD; Pokemon Box; Pikmin II etc), as well as the console pack-in's which are much harder to find sealed than most other games (Mario Kart Double Dash & Pokemon Colosseum). It's also quite hard (But not impossible) to find some of the early games still sealed, where Player's Choice versions took over, such as Super Smash Bros and Mario Sunshine

If you're aiming to get all the first party Nintendo games, then you still have a very long way to go my friend! There are a lot of top quality GameCube games left to obtain here! I would also suggest going for some of the rarer GameCube titles too, such as some of the RPG's which seem to be holding their price (Skies Of Arcadia Legends and Phantasy Star Online for example)

Awesome. I find it interesting how many of you prefer PAL games with tear strips to NTSC games without them. My opinion is that the tear strip ruins the look of the game...I prefer my cover art not to be covered up with red lettering. But maybe that's because I live in the US Smile

NBA Courtside 2002 being an interesting title to collect as it also features Mario characters in the game. Killer 7 and Geist are also nice additions due to being GameCube only releases, same for Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble

My mistake. Easily done. It's the GameCube version that always springs to mind when I see the cover, and I often forget that it was released on the PS2 also
