Sealed Game Collecting in Germany
So is this a really big scene in Germany? I wandered over from DP. To bad I don't speak German. I have a few sealed games, but I don't intentionally collet them. But its cool that people do.

Re: Sealed Game Collecting in Germany
welcome to our community suckerpunch5!
it is not a big scene in Germany but it is a really bif scene worldwide... go and watch some ebay.com auctions and you will see that there are prices over $500 for some sealed games.
And i think there are more and more sealed collectors all over the world and we try to bring them to our message board .
Please post your collection(s) in our "sealed collections" threads to show your sealed games and let us know what you prefer to collect in sealed condition !

Re: Sealed Game Collecting in Germany
look at the collections and you'll see if the scene is big
But to be serious: It's not that big as in the US.....but sealed games reach also high prices here on german ebay. I bought an factory sealed Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PS) in Spain.....this one cost me 400 Euro (500 Dollar). So here are also some freaks around
It's no problem if you don't speak german....I think some english guys will follow and some Germans speak also english...so it's ok.
You can post your collection also in the designated sector (Sony, Nintendo...)
And if you have questions....just ask

Re: Sealed Game Collecting in Germany
Hi Suckerpunch.
How could you find your way in this little, freaky community?
The Board is just existing a few days and we´ve already got international members...thats pretty cool :afro:
One other thing:
I would say there is a big difference between US sealed game collectors and collectros from Europe.
Its no secret that a big bunch of pal releases are extremly hard to find in factory sealed condition.
Imo its not such a big Problem with the US Games, their easier to find. No matter for which system.

I found this site from a post sammelhammel put up over on Digitpress. So I thought I'd come and check it out.
I'm kind of interested that it is easier to find US classic games sealed than it is to find PAL games sealed.
Are the print runs for PAL games a lot smaller?

I was kind of thinking of Europe as the EU. In that consideration it is about as big as the U.S. But certainly, just Germany, or just France would be a much smaller number.

I think collecting for PAL sealed games are alot more exciting since so many are almost impossible to find. I collect both NTSC and PAL sealed games but although I think it's more fun to collect PAL sealed games, I decided to focus more on NTSC because for NTSC games, at least there is a possibility for me to get a complete sealed set for a particular system. But for PAL, I can't think of any system that is possible for a complete sealed set besides the Dreamcast and maybe handhelds like the Gizmondo and N-gage.
