Fortunately for me I have 2 of those sealed myself.:-p Maybe in another 10 years they'll be worth something.
i bought 2 of these and sold 1 to someone in brazil for $70. its not a big seller since there are tons of copies of RE4 left on the shelves still. but my other copy had a boxcut in the middle, i didnt like it very much so i sold it. then i found another copy just a month ago for $25 but unsealed but the game and everything else is.. i dont think i'd be selling any 'cube games for awhile since its still pretty much out there and nobody is really paying more than $70 to $80 for a sealed copy. even ikaruga ended not even $80 the other night.

£82.00 for a factory sealed Metroid II: Return Of Samus for the GameBoy, complete with red Nintendo tear strip! Surely a very sought after item!

Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
I'll just add... Metroid II would've been considerably cheaper had someone not decided to place a bid at the last moment... No worries though. Not going to name any names!

Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
I have to say that I maybe also had place a bid....also in the case that someone who I know had already bid on the item.
I always bid in the last 15 seconds before the auction ends. When someone bid already on the item I cant be sure that HE will get it.
Furthermore it's kind of weird: I bid on every sealed game 1 Euro and nobody of you can bid no more???
I will always bid for games that I WANT and that I NEED for my collection....no matter who place already a bid.

A friend is selling metroid II with french blister http://cgi.ebay.fr/Jeu-Game-Boy-Metroid-II-Return-of-Samus-Neuf_W0QQitemZ270187945034QQihZ017QQcategoryZ132624QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
He bought it around 8 or 9€ on ebay, because the seller's announce was without keywords. He got 2 metroid, i'm trying to trade one with him ;d

Nice!
It does state that the version is French though, so perhaps there would be less damand for a French-only version of the game outside of France. The version I have is English (For the UK market), but would probably attract bidders from other countries in the EU, as well as America, Australia, and Japan etc - Whilst a French version would only really be collectable in France and / or Canada mainly

Actually, the biggest auction that I saw of nes games was won by vintagevgs (the seller of the 247 games) He won an auction for 1400 factory sealed nes games + 12 new systems if I remember. $15,000 dollars shipped.

Ok, here they are (they might not work all the time until comcast completes the update)
I would like to add, that EVERY game was in absolute mint condition. I bought a few for the buyer

Ah, I distinctively remember that auction too, and read about it on DigitalPress.

Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
Back then when I was a kid and playing the good ol NES, I had this game... It was fun to play like the series 1. My mother sold this stuff when I told her that I am no longer playing with it due to the fact I was playing with my new Mega Drive.
Craps.
