Re: EBAY "Steal of the Year" Award
You know what kills me the most about this?
I live 10 minutes from this guy and do business with him regularly. He priced them at $60 based on the Player's Choice one that sold for $60 last week, I'm 100% sure he did because that's how he prices everything. I'm willing to bet he put these up for auction without putting them out, otherwise I would of had 2 cases.
EDIT: I just called bill, and he sold 23 of these at $60 each. Fucking 23. All original, non-player's choice.
He paid, and get read: $2 a game.
The guy he got them from is all out. Turns out it's a small world, because it was the same guy my case came from.

Watch the value go down to $60 now as all 10-15 people that were looking for this get a copy

Nope. He got the case from the guy my friend got the case from. My friend was a middle man between me and the dude who was going out of business selling his old game stock. Bill hit the same guy up and apparently got 23 of these, all which sold within minutes. There's no extras left.

Re: EBAY "Steal of the Year" Award
This makes me want to shut my head in a car door. If I had just swung in to bills shop, I'd have 23 more of these and be like 20K richer by the end of Christmas.
Irritates the shit out of me that he was only 10 minutes away!

Won't happen because only 3 people ended up with them all. Only 1 wasn't a business. They'll probably sit in an ebay store at $1000 each until Xmas.
Re: EBAY "Steal of the Year" Award
Unfortunately at $60 apiece those buyers can afford to dump these for considerably less than $1k Supply and demand rules... I think in the short term this will affect prices but eventually after these go away it will go back up.

Not a chance. I could see $300 the lowest. After all, these are case fresh!

So Bill owns a used game and collectible store and sells them for $60 a piece?
He just blew his "get out of debt free card"!

Speaking of Metal Gear steals, I saw the VR Missions you won, damn I could've had copy #5! heh
I thought the $60 I got one for was good, $40 is crazy. I sold one a day after you got that (item #190238295566 for $225) and the seller was ecstatic to get one in gem mint condition heh, guess he missed it too.
