Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
I can creat a auction with ChuChu Rocket sealed for $2000 ... doesn't say anything ... we must wait what he really get ...
Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
You're right...even I wouldn't pay that much . I mean...owning a factory sealed copy of one of the greatest games of all time is one thing...but Chrono Trigger isn't even quite as rare as everyone makes it out to be...it's just VERY VERY sought after and demanded. Same with FFVII, though I've noticed that mint Y-fold copies of that are very hard to find. Most copies of Chrono Trigger I've seen up on eBay have all been in pretty comporable mint condition.

Pretty rough condition, imo, but still nice to see the Blue Bomber fanbase still going strong...

I wouldn't say it's "rough"...but definitely not worth anywhere close to $800.

I'm confused. PAL Yoshi's Safari is like the rarest most valuable game or something? The US version isn't worth anything.

Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
That FF Collection auction didn't sell for a lot because it wasn't advertised correctly. Had the guy advertised them all as having the Y-fold style wrapping and put the word "sealed" or "new" in the title of the auction, I think it would have attracted more attention.
That winner got a SICK deal. A Y-folded FFVII black label (if mint) is worth almost as much as what that auction sold for!!

I wonder if this strider150 buyer knows that is a Canadian version, not US. Also, the seller has no feedback. Ack!

I was actually watching this one and wanted to bid but after asking the seller bout the condition of the game, I refrained coz she said the corners are rounded.
Didn't know it was Canadian version, I was lucky I didn't bid

It is on Snesbits unconfirmed sealed list so I guess it is quite rare.

That's what I was curious about too. I was interested in this auction as well, but after emailing the seller twice asking for additional pictures and not receiving any reply whatsoever, I decided to leave this one alone.

Re: Big ebay sealed auctions ...
I figured it was Canadian when I saw the seller was in Canada. if you look closely at the pics you can see the bilingual text on the front and back of the box. DEFINITELY not worth $300+! As an FYI, I remember not too long ago (last year actually) original US Super Mario World sealed selling for around $120-$150 multiple times. I didn't think it was worth more than that.

show on prize
I am the winner of this auction but the seller just contacted me and said the game is no longer available because his nephew opened it. I am not sure if he is telling the truth. I messaged him back and asked if he got a higher offer and that I will try to match it if he will just let me know.
